It’s been a bit of a crazy day.  No picture today but as Monk likes to say “Here’s what happened”

I went to the old preschool I used to work at and took Nate with me.  My mom still works there a bit, just enough to pay for her retirment plan, and my grandmother and I thought it would be nice to go and visit her after running some errands.  Well, like I said, I took Nate.  He wasn’t too convinced at first.  He eyed all the children with dissinterest and sometimes a frown of disgust.  It was crazy!  At one point my grandmother was giving him his bottle in an armchair and a group of the other kids walked in line back to their classroom after having popcicles and he watched them for a bit then literally snapped his head to look up at my grandmother with this “whatever” type of look on his face.  I didn’t know a 3 month old could do that.

He was not impressed with the kids at all.

I on the other hand was delighted to see new little faces and then some of the children I used to watch over when I was working there.  I daydreamed about having my child go to that daycare/preschool for a few minutes and then crashed back to reality.   I had always kind of wanted my kids to go there.  I know the quality of care that preschool offers and like it.   However, I know that won’t happen but in the end it’s for the best.  

I’ll just have to find an accredited preschool in Hawaii.
