I put kido in his swing today and had the tv on for some background noise on the disney channel. Play House Disney was on and one of the shows in it happened to be The Doodlebops.
Now… normally I think kidshows are great. I have discussed some shows with my friends and with the exception of the telletubies I have defended and even liked most of them. Even Elmo, which apparently is not a favorite of my friend MadameMeow. However… I think I personally reached my limit with the Doodlebops. I’m glad that the three actor’s of the show like kids enough to work in that venue…. but the whole show itself seems to have been created by someone that was trippin’ on acid at the time.
Also… the costumes are a little scary…
I’m glad my son has moved on from most of this stuff and onto stuff that I actually enjoy watching (transformers, star wars etc.) because these guys creep me out. The blue dude looks totally evil. Like joker-esque.

haha! You should hear them talk! It’ll be fun when Nate gets into the transformers and GI Joe phase…. I know Josh is looking forward to it.

Hahah! Yeah I don’t know if the blue or the yellow guy is creepier… though the pink/purple girl isn’t far behind.
All the colors in the show make it as bad as Johnny Depp’s Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
